I just bought my new Xb from a private party and the guy i bought it from said he put a performance chip in it Im assuming its probably one of those pieces of junk on ebay and I want to remove it. I dont want to call the previous owncer but since i did not install it so i dont know where to look for it so i can take it out and if i do find it i dont know how to go about taking it out without screwing up the car please help

it's probably tied somewhere near the airbox MAF sensor.. look for ghetto wires that don't match teh factory look, and a cheap plastic box.

 

just dont take it to a dealer to fix...they will blacklist your vin and try to void the warranty
