View Full Version : What do you use your backseat for?

I took my first backseat passengers for a ride last night. My 6'2" friend fit comfotably in the back seat with it reclined and my other friend fit fine behind my seat with it all the way back.

Do you like to carry passengers and what do they say about the roominess of our cars?

Does anyone use the "unique conversation area?"
My roomate likes to recline the back seat and fold the front one down when he rides with me. He thinks its the coolest thing to have a sort of lounge chair in a sports coupe.

Or do you guys just throw your crap in the backseat? :silly:

i've been able to use the space for a convenient "getaway" when no privacy is available.

either that, or...

privacy for two :P

Usually its just me in my car. But if someone wants to lay the seat back, i have to move the subwoofer out of the way.

BTW yall do know that you can lay the front seats flat, remove the headrest, and stretch out. Part of the design of the tC.

depends... my stereo takes up the hatch area, so when i need to carry anything, it goes in the back seat.

i put people back there on a regular basis, but usually only 1

i have used the unique area on a few occasions also...

however currently, there is no backseat in my car.

9.5" headrest monitors make for quiet children.

think your shifter is long enough?

There is a point behind it. See his site for his other shifters...

Dr_Isotope

It's 7.5" taller than stock, and has throws 30% shorter than stock, even at that height. Optimally, it would be about 1" taller and have a little bit more throw reduction, but the one pictured is at the mechanical limit of the shifter cage.

Like I've always said, it's not for everyone. It's for me. I don't even make them for other people. I can't go back to a conventional shifter-- I've retrained myself on this one.

yea, it definately has a cool factor to it. not for me, but if thats what you like its cool to me.

It turns into a nice big bed (better than a cheap motel) when you go on a drive and feel like stopping to sleep...

(Oh and bring some blankets too so you don't die from the heater/A/C, also turn the engine off and leave your windows partially down with the radio on.)

If you scoot and lean your front seats all the way forward & recline your rear seats all the way back........add a young lady.....let's just say I've had foot prints on my back 3 windows before ....haha.......I love my tC....

^^^ I should try that, except for the fact that the tC has black upholstery and you wouldn't want to "stain" that...
