The steering wheel cover is a wheel skins - I love it and it is only like $35 or something!! Oh, if I paint it what color - white to match or like black to blend in??? I want to add a blue interior to my xB. But not sure how to take the plunge. Looking at color patches on internet dash sites seems risky for 2 to 300 bucks. I suggest painting ALL of the silver trim in there to match the white, otherwise it will look mismatched. Interesting look, I'm not sure I'd do this to my PW, but I like it. It's definitely different and unique. Actually I think its pretty much ok the way it is... Not sure black would look any better (black/white, depending on how glossy the black is would look tacky). CF might be interesting and work.. but I'm not able to really visualize it. maybe find someone in an art school and have them suggest a color or have them photoshop it to show you the different choices. TheIcon 03-23-2005, 03:31 PM I still say don't paint the silver. YOu paint that silver you have to paint your steering wheel silver , your window switches, and around your gear shift. Leave it silver cause you have silver in other sections of your car that it matches with.
