Ok, I have some more info on the xceed bbq. They have moved it, so now its a little closer!!!! It will be at Kennsington park (the same place as the last one). Entry to the park is $10, unless if you checked the box when you renewed your vehicles registration and paid an extra $10 you can get in "free".
Lets face it this will be the last hurrah before those 2 dreaded four letter words start showing up (snow and salt). Well, unless we have a "A Very Scionara Christmas/Winter Holiday Celebration". So this is it, if you havent come out to anything atleast come out to this. Good times are always had, Medic and P.R.B. are on their second tours, they can tell you.

Well after talking it over and figuring a few things out, Josh(Turk2005), Rob(that1guy), Nate(Gummie_Guy), and I have decided to Host the Fall BBQ.
What: “Unofficial” Xceed BBQ & Car Meet
Where: Kensington Metropark- 2240 W. Buno Road Milford, MI 48380
Baywoods shelter "G"
When: Sunday, October 2nd, 10:00am
If you plan on attending PLEASE post in here so we can get an idea of how many people are planning on showing up.
There will be food, drinks, and possibly a raffle.
All proceeds will be donated to Toys For Tots, so bring a toy everyone
This will be like the Spring BBQ where no asshattery will be allowed and you will be asked to leave if you don't want to follow that rule.
There will be NO drinking or drug use of any kind.
Donations are welcome and if you would like to bring some stuff let one of us know

There are two scions in town that are done up, mine and this other guy. I live out in the middle of no where. I don't know anyone, that is why I hoping to make this thread and see who was all out there in the same boat as me. I just wanna cruise and do a show or at least be a part of one. I used to do shows all the time in my v dub but now there are like no affiliations i know of in the midwest or how to be a part of it. so what now? this show on oct. 2nd in michigan? i'm down. any cruise going to be with it? is it a show? i didn't really read it, i just skimmed it.

Dont just looked for hooked up rides, stocks are great as well, and to be truthful I'll take a stock rider with a passion or wanting for DIY and teach em over someone already fully modded. So get with that guy and let him now your looking to expand and would he be interested in making the trip up real quick to the bbq. if so you just got a member

Nice. How do get involved in that and be apart of it so I can get dates and updates and ish like that? I would love to race, but my bolt ons are pushin' much. But it'd still be fun. What do you suggest on me getting involved?

Milwaukee SCCA races at Miller Park. They have one of the best lots anywhere. I compete closer to Chicago area. Chicago SCCA will be at Rt66 raceway in Joliet this Sunday. ACTUALLY, in addition to my tC, there is an RS5.0 coming out from Champaign. There's usually an '06 box, but he's dealing with a broken car (not from racing)

I've looked into SCCA before, but I haven't in a while. What does it all take to compete in one of those? Miller park is only an hour away. I'm actually from Joliet, and that's only about 2 hours away and I'd have no problem shootin down there. I know it's this sunday already, but is there any way I could be a part of that at all by sunday or probably not? I jsut don't want to miss out on any action this year and have to wait all the way until next year. Let me know. All your info is awesome. I appreciate it.

I'm not positive what entry is because I season preregister and basically get a free event. It's $38(I looked) and $15 for a weekend membership if you don't belong to SCCA.

Dang, starts pretty early. This weekend I'm going to be at wisconsin dells drunk at the club that doesn't close til four. For me to be in joliet by 730, i'd have to leave the dells at 330, and i'm gonna be hammered. i gotta miss this one, but i see oct 15-16 theres scca going on. you going to that one? and also, what about shows/cruises? you know anything about those too? Again, driving any distance is not a problem for me.
