Headers + OBX resonator + HKS Hi Power
Searched and found a few other combinations with an OBX resonator...
I was wondering if anyone who run headers (I run megan) and an HKS Hi Power or similar exhaust setup.... know if this is the correct resonator to buy for the midpipe? (I bought a full catback setup off guy on craigslist so I don't know brand, if any, of the midpipe setup...)

OBX 17.25" long with 2.5" OD ..
I'm assuming since the pipes connect to the HKS axleback fine, this OBX resonator would be fine to weld in place of the (one of two) tiny resonators I have?
Thank for input.

Without knowing the diameter of the mid-pipe it's hard to tell if this will work. You want a resonator that's ends will either match or slip in/over the other piping, if it's alot different it would be difficult to weld together.
You're saying the midpipe has 2 resonators already? Do they look like they came that way(robotic welds)? If so, it's probably the Megan midpipe since that is the only bolt-on midpipe that has 2(that I know of). Just measure the piping and go from there though.

Yup, that's what I was assuming it would be megan midpipe from googling a lot of pictures lol and comparing to what I see underneath the car.
Yeah these are two resonators (one smaller length, then a longer length one) and it is all one piece of the pipe, no hackjob welding.
It bolts up directly to the HKS axle so I'm assuming this ebay OBX resonator will weld in just fine eh? I just wanted to check if anyone else purchased OBX 2.5" resonators and if this is the correct OD size and such.

If it is a Megan that means it's 2.25" piping which is I.D. so the outside should be around 2.37". The resonator you listed is 2.5" O.D. so that should slip over the piping with a tight fit, assuming it is a Megan and the resonator is listed right. We all know what happens when you assume something though.
You have one header.
You have (stock) two cats(one in the header, and one under), one resonator, and one muffler.
If you remove your resonator (I don't know why you would), simply measure. And be prepared to fabricate a double hanger.

Everything is aftermarket for my exhaust setup from headers to axle, except the downpipe. So I'm sure I have the megan midpipe as mentioned before with a 10-12 inch resonator followed by a 16-18 inch resonator, and it's not welded in but came like that as part of the piping. ;) I just wasn't sure on the OD and ID of the OBX resonator cuz I wanted to replace the big resonator on the megan pipe. =)
