He runs that exact size wheel with S-Tech springs.. but he stretched the stock 225/45/18's on them.
Thanks for the link but I am actually looking for the inside clearance between the wheel and suspenion up front.

Here is a photo of the front with a 19 X 9 with a +40-mm ET

as you can see, there is plenty of room...if you go +35-mm there would be even more room. Using 9.5" will make it within 1-mm.
To me, it looked like the rear had less room to the fore-aft link...
thanks for the pic!! that helps, it is what i was assuming it would be and the rear does look to have slightly less to work with.
how close is your tire to the fender liner while turning lock to lock? do you have inches or mm's?

This is my son’s DD (This is a father-son project), so I don’t get to drive it much…as I recall, at full lock, I did hear a slight rub…but there had to be a bump involved too…but I could not find any rub mark on the inside…I’ve looked. Also, while we were going in the mid 80s on an off/on ramp (almost sideways), we hit a dip in the road and bottomed the suspension out…I heard a rub then too…again, I can not find any rub marks. The 19 X 9 with 40-mm offset with 255/45R19 is the largest wheel you can have on a gen2 without having to modify the bodywork to fit…and we are on the TRD lowering springs (1-inch) too. Take a look in my garage, I’ve got photos of the wheels…they come very close to flush.
