They're great coilovers! Good come-up! oreoremix42 10-10-2011, 08:58 PM Thank you, I am sure I will be pleased with the threads I have read about these coilovers and only 1k mileage and 300 off is a nice bonus flyingemu05 10-10-2011, 09:40 PM oh hey thats me. gonna box them up tonight and drop them off at fedex tomorrow. this was an expensive temporary drop solution for me ahaha. oreoremix42 10-10-2011, 11:20 PM Haha that it was! oreoremix42 10-18-2011, 03:30 AM Struggled getting the fronts on a little, there all on now I am struggling with adjusting the rear of the car. Just doesn't seem to go where I need it. I am literally sitting on the tire in the wheel well lol xseveredveganx 10-18-2011, 03:35 AM What's wrong with it? Just not going down all the way? Are the shocks bottomed out? flyingemu05 10-18-2011, 03:41 AM I threaded them all the way down to fit in the box. Did you adjust them back up? oreoremix42 10-18-2011, 04:20 AM Yea I am trying to back up but seems to sit. They are literally sitting on the tire haha xseveredveganx 10-18-2011, 04:27 AM What's sitting on the tire? Fenders? No way it could be the coilover. Lol! oreoremix42 10-18-2011, 04:30 AM Yea I don't think so either I was working on it in the dark so not sure what I will find tomorrow morning. Will post up more when I know more oreoremix42 10-19-2011, 12:25 AM Here is a little teaser pic... It is gunna rain here the next few days or it would be washed. I will get some better pictures when I get the chance to. The rear shocks are maxed out height wise!! http://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x359/kkilmore89/316979_2066394587085_1461390063_31720706_44703908_n.jpg flyingemu05 10-19-2011, 01:00 AM you get it all figured it out? fender isnt sitting on the tires anymore? oreoremix42 10-19-2011, 02:06 AM No its not thankfully but it doesnt have much more height adjustment. My issue is the height of my tire I have a 45 in the rear when it should be a 40 CIONIDE 10-19-2011, 03:13 AM My issue is the height of my tire I have a 45 in the rear when it should be a 40 Yea, those tires are way too huge for the coilover set-up, time for a new set. I don't remember your wheel specs Kyle, can you give me a refresher on the size & offset? jnaval 10-19-2011, 04:51 AM That looks good, in my opinion as I'm a fan of beefy tires. What kind of wheels are those? xseveredveganx 10-19-2011, 06:26 AM The fact that the rear shocks don't extend as far as KSport is a large factor why I personally wouldn't get them. But that's me. I'd rather the shock bottom out, than the lip of my wheel tagging my fenders. May have to roll your fenders. Depending on how much they hit, you could even possibly trim the lip a little. If you need any aide, let me know and I can walk you through the process. Tell you where to cut. Roller_Toaster 10-19-2011, 10:25 AM Looks great! I'm also a fan of the "beefy" tire look :D oreoremix42 10-19-2011, 01:12 PM Yea, those tires are way too huge for the coilover set-up, time for a new set. I don't remember your wheel specs Kyle, can you give me a refresher on the size & offset? Yea I will be taking it down as there almost done on tire life. The rears are 245/45/18. Cioncide what do you think about doing a 235/40 for my next setup? Or should I stick with 245/40? That looks good, in my opinion as I'm a fan of beefy tires. What kind of wheels are those? Thanks! They are kazera KZ-As. Had them for a long time just repainted them from what they use to be. Come spring time I have to repaint them gunna go different color. Looks great! I'm also a fan of the "beefy" tire look :D Thanks man!!! |
