TheScionicMan 03-23-2005, 11:08 PM I just bought a Cal Car Duster at Costco and it came with a smaller one for the interior. It works good, probably about the same as the Swiffer dusters. I also use The Absorber when its damp after drying the car - works great. I also bought a big soft make-up brush for getting around the corners and in the cracks. Don't waste money on Armor-All, just slap some Crisco on there if you want your dash to fry and always need moisturizing... peterbilt 03-23-2005, 11:24 PM this is a bit of a long winded answer, but it's worth it... part of a clean interior is the smell. most people like the "new car" smell - I included. I have yet to find any air freshener or car perfume that actually smells like the fresh plastic and carpet fibers of a new car. however... Murphy's soap oil is damn close - so close that people would comment on my 12 year old Isuzu truck - that it still smelled (and looked) new. here's what I do: mix one part Murphy's w/ two parts water into a spray bottle. spray onto a microfiber towel and wipe everything down no streaks no wet look a clean surface (oily finger prints and whatnot are gone) it dries w/o any residue leaves the interior smelling showroom fresh and, if you don't use the outside air for venting, virtually dust free jct 03-24-2005, 01:00 AM ok i've been seeing one part this and two parts that and 3 parts whatever what does the "part"s stand for in one part water??? dgHotLava 03-24-2005, 01:36 AM a part is any measurement you want... but follow the directions..if it says one part product A, and two parts product B... if you substitute a pint for 'part' it 1 pint product A and 2 pints product B... or use gallons...or cup...or quart... its like making drinks...one part vodka two parts...you get the idea....
