I never had a windshield get scratched by the wipers before. It had just rained here the other day requireng me to use them and I found a scratch across the window today. What is the possibilty of Toyota helping me out with this issue? :pray: Could they polish the window ot or replace it? I am planning on showing the car this year, but not a scratched windshield. By the way it's in my field of vision.

the rubber part of the wiper blade came off so the metal was scraaaaaaaaapping :(

The rubber fell off, the dealer probably wont help you, its considered " Normal wear and tear", so its not covered. I would say to get a new windshield depending on your insurance deductible, but every time I get a new windshield I end up with a rock chip/crack the next week. LOL.

normal wear and tear? The wiper is still intact! On top of that the whole assembly has begun making some sort of noise as well. I wish it would stop raining here.

i dont have any scratches and mine only has 270 miles on it so far. I just applied some Rain X to the windshield. I have used it in the past on other vehicles. Im interested to see the effects without that much of a slope to the windshield. anyone else try it on the xB ?
