anyone have any ideas on how i should go about taking off the fuel door applique (carbon fiber)? i bought my box used....and it was on there. don't like it. must be rid of obscene sticker.

try heating it with a blowdryer, then slowly peeling it off. Very similiar to the removal of vinyl stickers. Good luck.

... You might also wanna get some Turtle Wax Bug & Tar remover just in case there's some nasty adhesive residue.

combine those two ^

heat it up on one of the edges, and start peeling. as your peeling, heat up the area in front of you. this leaves the least amount of residue in my past expierences. you'll still have some residue left, so put some Goo Gone to it and light rubbing. it should come off. then wash it, stand back, and see how good your box looks 8)

I have a product called Sol-u-mel that removes goo and stuff better than anything.
