Im going to cry about the supercharger news.
I got the car right away because I thought the SC was coming. I still love the car though ate up wannabes tonight, I felt powerful. Its sucks to wait a whole year to get the SC because I aint getting it in the winter. Wait time total 1 yr 6 months
isn't winter over or almost over? why can't you get it in the summer, spring or fall? congrats on the car. why are you racing it w/out breaking it in tho? that can damage your engine. who did you race btw?

i thought SC is in may.. i mean im not really deciding on SC.. cuz there is alot of TK out ther for us. just wait .. patience is always the key to a beautiful Scion.

I was talking to a friend of my roommate that works in parts at Oxnard Toyota and he said they arent even expecting the SC on its supposed release date of early April, he said maybe sometime in the fall at the earliest.
people seem to be surprised the the s/c charger is not out yet. people need to remember that you are dealing with TRD which postpones everything for a least a year or longer. this is nothing new with them no releasing a product on time. i wouldn't be surprised if the s/c isn't released for another year
Well here is the news: I was talking to a guy at the dealership that was in town because of the NY car show and he gave me the bad news. Scion changed the release date for the supercharger once again. Instead of posting a date, they are saying "TBA" ....meaning this product is not going to be released within the next few months. It will be released but...not soon. If I had to guess, I would say they are going to release it late this year (maybe). Sorry for the bad news but I am going to get an intake and forget about the supercharger. A year from now I will worry about if I want a turbo or supercharger. Getting one when it first comes out is not a good idea anyway. Aftermarket companies learn from users. I rather other people test run the product before I put it into my car.
So much for the warranty, it'll be gone by the time this thing's out.
And don't think because you have the TRD supercharger that they are going to look the other way if you have other mods or have abused your motor. I have a feeling that all the sc warranty claims are going to involve hastily replaced supercharger gears and some nonchalant whisteling...
'No I didn't tamper with the boost! I swear I was just driving my grandmother to church when... BANG!'
