Default USB Thumbdrive?

Hey All,

I have a 2011 Scion XB. I'd like to use a flashdrive in the internal usb port vs leaving a i-device plugged in all the time. Does anyone know about limitations of the stock radio that is in the xB?

I do know that the drive has to be formated with Fat32. Is there a size limit though? I'd like to use a 32gb corsair flashdrive.

Thanks!,

Dan

Unless Scion really changed the stock HU, there should be no problem. It will be cumbersome to have a large amount of low bit-rate songs on the drive, making getting to them a pain. I use 4 smaller drives (8gB) for each genre I like. And they go on sale more often, too.

I have 16 gig (3,000+ songs) and just leave it on "random".
I couldn't imagine looking for anything in there let alone 32 gig.

I have a 32gb and it works fine. I too leave it on random and just listen all day long. IT IS GREAT! no need for any other type external device. I will say that the "list display" on the factory radio is a little slow when rolling through folders, but since I usually leave on random not a problem.

I wonder if it will play FLAC lossless files?
