Default Black and Yellow xB getting AIRREX Suspension w/ Stage 3 Digital..

Ok guys its been a while since i did anything drastic to my xB..

http://www.airsociety.net/2011/02/ma...ums-patron-xb/

Being the installer and rep for AIRREX we just had to equipt my car with AIRREX for a demo car.

So after being the first gen 2 xB on Bags and 4 years of reliability on my old system from FORJWORKS UAS in which i have no regrets as it was an awesome setup. time to say good by!

I have installed AIR RUNNER, AIR LIFT, UAS and This by far out of all the Air Suspension kits I have ever installed in a Scion xB.
The AirREX kit is by far the probably best kit on the market right now for the Scion xB that is bolt up. (and I'm not saying this because we sell AirREX)

When you compare it its like night and day.

The AIRREX product ships directly from Taiwan. I must say they didn't have the xB kit in stock. it shipped within 5 days and transit time was only 2 days to Hawaii.

As you can see the quality of this product as looking at the rear set up.. the mount are CNC machined billet mounts not cheap steal mounts.

The Front Struts are Coil over Dampers fitted with bags that they manufacture them selfs. They also have on optional Pillow Ball mount.

Whats good about this kit is most scion owners were looking for a more reliable Sleaved bag system for rim clearance for max drop.. The only other sleaved type system was air lift that is full of on going issues.
With AIRREX the bags are not part of the top mount. there for its a way better design.

I will walk you guys though the install and the out come.

I'm curious about something, can you weigh everything that comes with this kit and maybe everything from the old one (tank and all), please. Thanks in advance.

That Easystreet stuff is a seriously flawed design... who would make a tophat that's supposed to pivot be a sealing point for an airspring?

Looks good! Curious of the end results! The coilover bodie,s themselves, look a lot like ScionPro's product.

I personaly installed the Easy Street controller and its not what it lives up to. And had only problems with it. CUstomer ended up taking it out after getting stuck a few times.

The Stage 3 is a better buy.

It really depends on what tire manufacture you use and how much fender well gap you have.... im not sure on the tire size but i think its falken 215 40 17.. IF i went any smaller even though im on air the body kit was hitting the ground already with zero pressure.. so a smaller tire would ahve give some fender gap.

IMO the 17s are to small.. if im all the way down with a five axis kit and the tires cant tuck

here are more pics..

I'm really digging the Style 5's. I've found a set locally that I've considered purchasing.
Since 17's are simply too small with the 5Axis kit, have you considered rebuilding them with stepped lips to make them 18's? I know they're 2 piece, but I'm pretty sure Rotiform could make new lips and barrels. They do it with LM's, why not Style 5's!? I'm definitely tuned in.

aw yea i feel you. maybe if i do 215/45R17? but yea i'm leaning more towards 18's. Anyone interested in a set of super clean Volk AV3's 17x8 +35? They're 5x114.3 and 5x100

Ok had time to install the AIRREX suspension..

AS you can see the AirREX strut goes way shorter.

Can go way lower if i cranked it all the way down

Rear Before

After Not much lower Bags are smashed to the max.. but it did go a lille lower prob becuase of the shorter shock

Notice mounts are not steel it billet aluminum

Next is the Wireless digital Stage 3
