They sure as heck are around here in Florida. My wife and I were looking to get a Subaru Forester, another happy box on wheels, but since we can't afford a Forester right now, we're thinking about an xB.
I really like the xB, she's lukewarm at best, but concedes that it's a pretty good little box for the money. Well, that is until we started looking at used ones.
In Florida and up into Georgia where I find most used ones, used 2004's with 10 to 20k miles on them are selling for up to 17k!
I also noticed that dealers are also trying to sell them as SUV's. Well, maybe that's because they are somewhat hard to categorize, and nobody can sell a vehicle if it's listed as a wagon.
The ones I have been looking at weren’t even decked out with custom wheels or anything. Sticker shock for an entry level vanlet? It is for me.

I'm looking for a white one to combat the intense sun down here, but we have to pay the stupid tax and buy an auto. My wife can't drive a stick. :(
Thanks though.

No, not really, but I'd rather save a few thousand bucks and buy one with a couple thousand miles on it. I was thinking by now that an '04 xB would be going for low 12's, if that, heck, they start at 13.
I guess they're holding their value well.

crazy thing (tho good for us xB owners) is that as long as it's in good physical shape you can get what you paid for it back with no problem, if not more.
KBB posts resale at $14.9k and with the right aftermarket add ons that price can easily rise. i knew i fell in love with my box for some reason, realiable and easily saleable (tho i ain't selling)

Aftermarket ad-ons often diminish the price of a vehicle. Riced out Civics are usually worth a lot less than their stock counterparts. I suppose since a lot of the accessories are dealer installed on the xB that might not be as much of a factor.
if your around the longwood, fl area there is david maus toyota. The new ones are pretty decent. pm me please
