I was wondering if anyone had some pictures from inside their XB2 with either 6000k 8000k or 10000k True HID Conversion plus what kit you have and where you got it. I am interested in getting 6000k again but I am leaning towards 8000k this time. Thank you.

 

i had 8k. 6k is my fav. u can really see that lil tint of blue with 8k. bugged me and most of my lighting is blue

 

IMO head lights that are really blue 8k 9k whatever make most cars look really cheap/ghetto. I like 5k & 6k for head lights and 3k or a matching pair with headlights for the fog lights. Both of mine are from DDM and cost $50+ (each) with a lifetime warranty.

 

I have had 6000k and I do agree they have a nice crisp style. I have had 10000k on my mazda6 and they were extremely bright and the blue/purple was amazing. But it seems the XB doesn't project as much light distance. So thank you for reassuring me.

 

i have 4500k from DDM on mine. its white with the slightest tint of blue in it. which seems weird since they're very similar to the fogs i have on my other car from a craigslist seller.

 

Is there any flickering on these lights from DDM? Have you had to replace any bulbs yet?

Should I get 55w or should I just stay at the 35w? Will I have power output problems?

 

no flickering with my kit. and no bulbs replaced, i got them a week after i got my car so theyre like a year and a half old now. i say stick with 35w i personally dont see the need for 55w.

I went with Morimoto 3five 6,000K for the headlights and fogs. It's pure white with a very light tint of blue.

Perfect amount of blue imo. Anything higher and I think its too blue and you may get hassled more by law enforcement. I'll try to take a pic this week since its now dark when I am leaving work.
