Default snow wheels and wheel spacer question

My buddy gave me a clean set of 1992 5x100 celica wheels with hankook snow tires on them. I tried putting them on but the wheel is "too shallow" and the brake caliper prevents the wheel from seating properly.

My question is, do I need wheel spacers? If so, what size should I go with?

Thanks!!!

Spacers are the only way you'll be able to use the wheels. Width depends on how much clearance you need. Anything over 8mm will require extended studs.

thanks for replying so quickly, Jon. The gap between the hub and the wheel is about a fingers thickness or so. So, what size do you recommend 15 of 25 or 38mm (all with extended lugs of course)?

10-15mm will probably be sufficient. Or you could get some 5x100 to 5x100 adapter style spacers in 25mm and call it a day. They have studs already pressed into them.
