The vent **** is stuck on face and foot mode only. My **** turns but doesn't change to defrost for example. Any help to fix this?

 

My wife has a xA. Did you ever remove the center section/silver long side panels for any installation? Something may have loosen/disconnected, not place back correct when the panels were put back on. I would take off the whole center section panels to get to the buttons/***** + to look at the center bottom underneath . Get a flashlight + friend if needed + play with the **** to see/hear what is not moving inside the vent or black air cabinet.

Basically, I believe when you turn the vent **** in any car, there is a something in the vent hose/air cabin like a flap connected to the ****, to open /close + direct the air in the vent hose. This air cabin flap may be not working properly + may be able correct with your fingers as it is not in the proper position. Good Luck
