PunkInDrublic 03-26-2005, 06:34 AM very nice, where did you get the tein basics from, and how much? I've been looking into getting myself a set of those as well.
DJ_X_Trodinaire 03-26-2005, 06:41 AM very purrty when lowered
daewonder 03-26-2005, 06:42 AM thanks guys! got em from www.sportcompactonly.com.
wow nice! your paint has some nice gloss!
my basics should get here next week and i'll have em installed next weekend
BSP_5c10n 03-26-2005, 07:00 AM That is a REALLY nice drop.
soldiercontreras 03-26-2005, 07:22 AM Looks so clean, I will be getting these soon. Just got my kenwood screen so now I have to save up for these.
TurboMe 03-26-2005, 07:30 AM clean ride literally.
b0unce 03-26-2005, 07:32 AM how low did u drop it how many in.?
daewonder 03-26-2005, 07:35 AM soldiercontreras -- thanks man! i'm gonna get the kenwood DDX7015 too eventually.
b0unce -- not sure. we turned them all the way down, then turned em up 20mm as instructed by tein. when it was done i thought the back sat a lil too high so we turned the rear down .25". came out perfect imo.
retrodrive 03-26-2005, 08:24 AM Nothing can be more beautiful then clean black. My other car is black :)
Nice drop dude.
onemorescion 03-26-2005, 01:50 PM Car looks good Jeremy, nice job with the install on the Teins.
asianspike 03-26-2005, 04:35 PM Looks nice in black period
reagulator 03-26-2005, 08:23 PM damn your car is shiny
daewonder 03-27-2005, 12:26 AM thanks guys! the reaction i get makes staying home and watching adult swim worthwhile lol.
scion_tC 03-27-2005, 02:02 AM what did u use to wash the car...that looks better then when the car rolls of the assembly line
nchyflyer 03-27-2005, 02:22 AM yes... please tell us what you used to make is friggin shiny!!!
daewonder 03-27-2005, 02:44 AM to be completely honest, i don't know how it came out like that. i didn't even wax it. that's just a simple wash w/ meguiar's purple stuff.
unseen 03-27-2005, 06:01 AM youve got some badass wheels on the xb. i like those so much more than stock tc ones. im still trying to rid mine. :(
daewonder 03-27-2005, 06:34 AM that's my homie marshall's xB. it was featured on the site in february.
Dirtyylicous 03-27-2005, 09:49 AM WOW!! the first and last pick remind me of the new bmw 6 series. car looks really really good man
scottwood2 03-27-2005, 12:49 PM Looks nice!

dgHotLava 03-27-2005, 12:55 PM moved...

niksmr2 03-27-2005, 09:40 PM Very nice! :)
proToSPEED 03-29-2005, 01:32 AM is it quite and smooth still? or is it sqeaking?
daewonder 03-29-2005, 03:32 AM nope, no squeeking. my homie who did the installed lubed everything up real nice. and yes, when the road is smooth, the ride is smooth.
2tone_xB 03-29-2005, 03:49 PM BSP
TEIN
Looks good.
airswipes 03-30-2005, 11:00 PM so its only smooth on smooth roads? its pretty harsh then on no so good surfaces?
daewonder 03-31-2005, 03:02 AM you're gonna feel the road riding that low. if the road sucks, the rides gonna suck. it's not horrible/neck-breaking but it's not comfortable either. if a comfortable ride is priority, going low is prolly not for you.
chris0 04-02-2005, 12:51 AM wow! that car's so shiny I swear I can see myself in it through my monitor! nice job.
chris
Darkness 04-02-2005, 03:50 AM am i the only one that thought you had a decal/paint job of a fish swimming on the side of the car in the first pic? haha
Very very nice car, BSP is my favorite color on the tC. The drop looks great.
just got my teins. hopefully gonna install tommorow if weather is nice
daewonder 04-02-2005, 08:07 AM am i the only one that thought you had a decal/paint job of a fish swimming on the side of the car in the first pic? haha
Very very nice car, BSP is my favorite color on the tC. The drop looks great.
haha i just noticed that! thanks :D
good luck with the install DuMa!
neuromonic 04-02-2005, 08:14 AM wow! that car's so shiny I swear I can see myself in it through my monitor! nice job.
Yeah, who cares about the Tein's. What kind of wax do you use?!
daewonder 04-06-2005, 07:57 AM i just use meguiar's cleaner wax. foam pad to apply and microfiber to buff off. nothing fancy. i think maybe the reflection is enhanced a little from sharpening the pic in photoshop.
have you gotten it aligned yet? some tire shops wont even talk to me when they found out i had it lowered :p
:(
daewonder 04-07-2005, 07:52 AM i haven't gotten it aligned yet. i'm not worried though cause there's one shop here that all the import heads go to. shouldn't be a problem for me. good luck finding a shop to do it.
ProPain 04-08-2005, 06:00 PM thanks guys! got em from www.sportcompactonly.com.
What's the story on the rear panel they say you have to remove to install these? Any pics of what was modified to install these? Assuming it's the Tien EDFC of course..
