I have never made a act of god claim. anybody work in insurance biz? TxBox 03-26-2005, 02:03 PM Sorry to hear about that. My wife and I were stuck in the same hail storm last night in Austin. Luckily we were in her Ford Focus since my new Scion isn't due to be delivered until next week. . As far as insurance, it should not cause it to go up, unless you have had other claims recently. You will have to pay your deductable though. Good news is they should be able to get it looking like new again. How bad was the damage on it? My wife's Focus has a few dents on just about every body panel now and the hood looks like someone took a ball peen hammer to it. sk8box 03-26-2005, 03:12 PM I counted about 6or 7 on hood and quit counting at 4 on back roof line it's still too dark, it was just sitting outside lucky I wasn't driving it. It hailed for a good 5-10 minutes i'm out at lake travis on lakeway side scott- 03-26-2005, 04:34 PM that sux man...sorry to hear that..i am in houston..i hope its not coming my way :( sk8box 03-27-2005, 02:32 AM WoW I feel lucky just saw on the news RV trailers by hudson bend on lake travis they looked like hammered caca, broke windows I hope it dosen't happen again here comes the rain again and in waves :nails:   fachiro1 03-27-2005, 04:47 AM You should call your insurance agaent and ask if it is covered. It probably is unless there is some kind of act of nature or act of God (no kidding, they have an act of God clause in the Toy's R Us buyer's protection plan!) in your contract. |
