Default belt replacement

I have a belt squeal on my 07. It goes away once I am driving. I have a feeling it needs to be tightened. It has about 45k miles on it. I figured I would replace the belt instead of just tightening it. Does anyone have a guide on how to replace the belt(s)? I would really appreciate it.

thanks

I think ya gave me a virus. LMAO

My belt is now starting to squeal when starting up the xB. then noise goes away when put in drive. I have almost 48K on my 2004. Oh well...... guess it's my turn to fix. Can i borrow your 10 yr old assistant? LOL

My wife has an 2005 xA about 47K no problems so far

CAUTION!

Do NOT break the VVTi solenoid on the side of the head / valve cover. It's VERY FRAGILE. And directly where you want to put a prybar to move the alternator.

It is the little silver round thing with wires coming out of it, above the alternator, next to the motor mount, bolted to the head.

I busted mine. So have alot of other folks. And it's 90 bucks, only online... means no car for a few days.
