Springs and spacers
I need some opinions:
I have a stock 2006 xb with Konig Lightning wheels and tires (stock size).
I want to add a decent drop and also add some spacers to bring the wheels out closer to the edge of the fender.
First, are the cheaper springs you find on Ebay any good? I'm not looking for performance so much as a drop. In not, good recommendations?
Second, what would be a good spacer thickness for the stock wheels and tires? I measured approx. 1/2 inch on the front, and about 1 inch on the rear.

this should be in the suspension section instead of wheel.
tanabe df210 for springs. do some reading in the buyer suspension guide. since you already measured for spacer thickness and came out with 1/2 and 1 inch, then get 3/4 inch? if you have drums in the rears, then get hub spacers. fronts you will need wheel adapters. they only come in pairs so you can get different sets for the front and rear. google.

just add spacer to the rear...are you keeping the stock wheel size set up? if not I would get spacers based on what your future plans are not just what you have today

Yes, I already installed the wheel/tire setup, now I'm looking to do the drop and spacers. It seems that about 1/2 inch on the front and 1 inch on the rear would be pretty close. I wasn't able to get a very accurate measurement, but I will today.

i can provide one.
but someone already suggested tanabe df210's. this is what I was looking into, only I dont like the "raked" look of a 2.4/2.0 drop, and my goldlines were $80 picked up from a guy that barely used them. I have a nice 2" drop all the way around even, but doubtful that you would be able to find another set.

@clean_xb : you added 3mm disk spacer to your rears? are disk spacer the ones you just slap on without any extra bolts? i have disk spacers for the front just to clear the calipers because of rims, will I be able to use it for the rear? I thought it's different because the rear has brake drugs instead of disc like the front. Just wanna verify so I can probably do mine like that too. =]
