Is that cat back? axle back? Any details? On a somewhat separate note, we really need to get cars with all these different exhausts together so we can record all of them next to each other, with one video camera so we can have a real sense of the sound difference... Anyway, thanks for posting! Backinblacktc2 01-05-2012, 10:53 AM Damn nice! Sounds great! Fmtc2008 01-05-2012, 02:41 PM i believe its an axle back but it sounds awesome MrBurrito 01-05-2012, 05:48 PM if you look at how they are making it it is most definitely a cat back exhaust. norcalstatvs 01-05-2012, 06:03 PM If it sounds as good on my iphone as it does in real life then this is gunna be my buy! Hah jtk2 01-05-2012, 08:06 PM if you look at how they are making it it is most definitely a cat back exhaust. ^^^ IMO sounds pretty good but also sounds like they electronically tuned up the exhaust sounds. ESEMRFOZZ13 01-05-2012, 11:57 PM sounds good on my bose surround, hate the angle look though. +1/-1 VVTinme 01-06-2012, 12:03 AM That sounds amazing! john2011TC 01-13-2012, 06:56 AM Watching to see how much it'll be. Can someone tell me why every aftermarket product is double for the 11+ tc's seems a bit harsh norcalstatvs 01-13-2012, 07:22 AM I called password jdm the other day and they said they were goint to come out with this exhaust and a street legal exhaust. And that the catback(shown above) will be in the same price range as the other catbacks on the market. So im guessin around 700$-750$. I cant c it beig cheaper then that. Only we can dream. Have to save that much money for just 4whp is to me a stab between the ribs, makes me gasp for air. Glad to c other ppl are noticing the hike on prices. john2011TC 01-13-2012, 07:30 AM I've been noticing since I bought my car. There's nothing I can when theres so much I want to do :( my friend has a 10' tc his ss cost 70. Our 11+ ss cost 300$. How is this possible? john2011TC 01-13-2012, 07:30 AM ^^^^^^^ very sorry this is so off topic. Back to topic I love the sound but I hate the look of the muffler itself unsungfate 01-21-2012, 06:16 PM I've been noticing since I bought my car. Chrislbz 01-25-2012, 01:33 AM For 799.00 you can buy Greddy! ProjectTC2 01-25-2012, 03:11 AM supply and demand... ^^x2 Also, it doesn't help that theirs only a handfull of companies producing goods for our cars. Theirs no such thing as competitive pricing if there's no competition! They can just price it however they want and if we don't wanna pay it, then we don't get to mod our car passwordjdm 01-25-2012, 10:59 PM Hey guys, happy to see all the excitement over the exhaust. We are planning on two different exhausts for the car. Race version (cat back) : this deletes one of the cats and is the one in the video. Street version: This is an axleback system that leaves all the emissions devices in place. We don't have any prices set in stone yet, but they will be VERY comparable to what's on the market now. KPSoflak 01-25-2012, 11:22 PM Day of launch ??? biglilsteve 01-26-2012, 12:13 AM After my Tsudo, I'm just totally done with loud exhausts. It wrecked my bottom-end too. Is there any chance that this could be different? If it's got 2.5" pipe diameter, I feel like it can't be too different. passwordjdm 01-26-2012, 12:31 AM No day of launch just yet, but I will keep you guys informed. disaster06 01-26-2012, 05:56 AM After my Tsudo, I'm just totally done with loud exhausts. If it's got 2.5" pipe diameter, I feel like it can't be too different. not a fan of the Tsudo? bummer, I was thinking of picking one up, but was afraid that the difference in pipe diameter would make it all mushy in the lower end biglilsteve 01-26-2012, 10:38 AM not a fan of the Tsudo? bummer, I was thinking of picking one up, but was afraid that the difference in pipe diameter would make it all mushy in the lower end Mushy is a great word to describe the lower end after a 2.5" exhaust. Don't get me wrong, the top end definitely feels more lively and responsive. My car is just a daily driver and all the noise/vibration that comes with it, PLUS losing power in the RPM range I use 90% of the time just makes it not worth it. Just my priorities though. Picked up a good deal on a used TRD. I'll stick with that. disaster06 01-26-2012, 02:32 PM Thanks for the info! Have you heard if defendant has the same issues? I had a magnaflow axle back, but even that made it mushy in the lower end biglilsteve 01-26-2012, 03:13 PM ^ Scion202 (Yuriy) experienced similar results from his Descendant. He felt the very same noticeable increase in low end performance once he put his stock back on. That surprises me about your magnaflow though...I hope my TRD is better! devanb3 02-07-2012, 02:25 PM any updates also are yall (psw jdm) looking for anyone to sponsor |
