i was lucky enough to get one of these head units for christmas but i have only one problem. At night time the navi doesn't go into night mode and i dont know what to hook the orange wire up too. Its way to bright even at the lowest brightness settting at night to be driving around with it like this. any help is appreciated.

 

did you get a wiring harness?

 

My reading of the wiring diagrams is that the green wire in the original radio harness provides the lighting feed when the headlights are on but it also looks like the ground side of the lighting circuit is a green with white stripe wire that runs through the dimmer dial on the dash to ground.
