has anyone been able to paint the bodyside moulding on the sides and the front and rear of the car towards the bottom. Im looking into it instead of buying a body kit, and just was trying to gauge a feel on how hard it is going to be

 

You will have to sand it down smooth in order to prime it for painting. Otherwise it will have a bumpy texture and won't adhere paint very well.

It will take a bit of time if you do it yourself, but it's possible. A kit is more easier since it's already primed for painting. All you need to do is mount it.
