I don't have any pictures...but here are the basic steps.

First, remove the wiper blades. The cap comes off, then there is a nut you have to remove. I believe it's a 14mm.

Second, remove the plastic parts. There is a seal that you kinda have to move, and then the wole plastic part comes off. There are two pieces too it. Remember how they look together, it'll just make it easier to put back in.

Next, you'll see the bolts that attach the cowl to the firewall. I think these were 10mm, but i can't remember. There are like....4 or 5 of them. Remove these, and the cowl will come off. I think there was something that the cowl has to slide over, but it's pretty simple to remove.

The last itme i did this was over a year ago, but those are the basic steps to removing it.

Good luck.

There's no need to remove it...

Just lift the front end of your car up, remove the strut nuts, and push down on the tires. You'll have enough clearance to mount the strut bar without taking out the assembly.

wellllllllllllll....

i removed the cowl, and OMG  that was cake walk!!!

that is way way WAY much easier then doing it the hardway!!!

remove the strut bolts and i didn't have to use a open/box wrench either :D and o just torqued 'em to spec :P haha not many ppl do that with the cowl in place :P

the only think i didn't care much adjusting the wipers back into the right place!.!.!.
