Have you got the money do to it? The seat covers will cost at least 200-400 bucks, and quality floor covering will be hard to find, and you'd most liekly have to caulk where it meets the interior panels to insure a propor fit. Got any idea if the wires underneath the carpet are sheilded? If not, you're looking for a possible electrical meltdown. Plus, the floor will end up trapping water because all of the exits out of th vehicle are raised, unlike in the element where the water could run out by itself.

It's a nice idea, but a HUGELY expensive and tedious one.

Hows about, if you want to hose out your interior, buy an Element. Why try and make your car something its not? I have an idea, why not seal all the door jambs and try and make your car a boat?

or an aquarium! that would the dopest mod ever.

did you guys read that long term on the element (either autoweek or automobile) where they gave up going to the dealer and started duct taping the panels down? that kinda sucks.

I like the idea - don't like the cost or the fact that after all that work, you'll still have to be extremely careful around the dash - that hunk in front that hides all the wiring.

use marine carpet (the stuff they use in boats) .... not that expensive

thats true, why would u risk that? theres no way the interior get as dirty as exterior ...

What a killer idea!!!!! You could have the "finding Nemo" edition xB, and just turn the back into a mobile salt-water aquatic nature center!

Don't forget to put drain plugs in the floor. BTW...Honda very strongly recommends NOT hosing the inside of the element. Ever. It's made to be wiped down, but it will flood and ruin the car.

if hose down the car, you could miss some water and then have mold begin to grow in the car and that won't smell good.
