Check engine lights anybody?

Has anybody here had problems with CEL's on their cars with the install of intakes, exhaust, headers etc. I want to do some bolt stuff but I don't want to run into any warranty issues.

Intakes and exhaust will not make the CEL go on. (if they are installed correctly) When it comes to the headers the CEL will go on. If you don't want to mess with the warranty just leave the car as is.

You can install a header without any problem with cel. You just need a 90 degree elbow on the 2nd o2 sensor hole... Less than $30

Also you will only run into warranty issues if you take your car to dealer for something and they can prove it broke or what have you because of your aftermarket stuff.

Thanks for the info. I will just do small things over time then to hold me over. I usually never have to deal with a warranty since everything I previously drove was old (read as junk).
