Question Where can I find wheel specs?

A buddy of mine has a set MSR 089 in black 19x8.5 that came off his 06 Mustang GT....I been helping him do some work rebuilding his garage and told me I can have the rims as payment...good shape just need tires...only thing is that he does not know the offset or hub bore sizes just knows he needed spacers for them..anyone know where I can find the specs for this wheel? just wondering if I can make them work...if not I will take them anyways and sell them since they are in good shape....thanks everyone

Check offset on one of the inside spokes, and check the hub bore in the center on the inside of the rim, may have to clean off some dirt to find it, but there might also be a sticker with all the info on the inside of the rims.

yea I looked for that sticker but no luck..will def look for the other info all I saw was 5x4.5 and 19x8.5 but no offset or hub bore info...gonna stop by tomorrow and see what I can dig up...they def not the hottest looking wheels but decent enough and for the price I am not paying for them...maybe worth throwing them on...lol

Thanks King!

Just look up his year, make and model of his mustang for rims and look at the bolt pattern for them to see if it is the same as you scion. If you see that the bolt pattern does not match up then there are website out there that sell change over to diffrent bolt patterns

Hope this helps rims look good tho

Thanks Jeremy...yeah I def know the bolt pattern is the same as ours...5x114.3 I am more concerned about offset and hub size...only reason I am considering it is because the patterns work

5x4.5 is 5x114.3 they are the same bolt pattern, he wants to know the hub bore size to tell whether he needs hub centric rings or not and the offset.

Thanks bro!

Correct me if I am wrong FWD cars have mid to higher offsets and RWD mid to lower offsets correct? if he needed spacers I take it the wheels were a higher offset...so I am leaning more towards that the wheels are +40....

I have a feeling they will most likely be the 40 offset models, and i had read that the center bore of most after market wheels are 73.1 and some MSR's have been said to be 72.6, our vehicles have a 60.1 so to reduce vibrations you will need Hubcentric rings.
Good thing i re-read what you first posted, i missed the whole he use spacers part. so yes they were most likely a higher offset due to him using spacers for his car.
in conclusion i would believe these are a pretty safe wheel to run, TRD 19's are 19x8 48et, yours are 19x8.5 40. Not that much of a difference.

Thanks so much man!!! Yeah I have a set of hub rings that the outer diameter are 73.1 so I will try those I mean worst case they are not hard to get once I know the size...and offset looks like it works...I may just run them after all....now my next step would be getting the right size tires that will work with my drop...haha not to much of drop its on Eibach Sportlines... roughly about 1.7f/2.2r 225/35 ??

in my opinion 225/35 should do fine, but like i said double check with Cionide, hell for sure put you on the right track, have fun with the new wheels!
