Default I want an Xa!

Sup guys, i've been lurking for the past few days. Anyways I currently drive a Tacoma and I'm selling it now. I need a commuter with better gas mileage. I want something chill and I'm sure i'll end up slamming it cuz stock stance is whack.

Any years to steer clear from? And Is the manual tranny strong enough for commuting? they're kinda rare from what i've found on craigslist, mostly autos.

oh and how alike are the XA and XB. from what i've learned so far they have pretty much the same suspension, do they have the same motors etc? what else am i missing?

someone aware me plz!

anyways i didn't find an intro section so i figured i'd post up here.

here's my speed bump scraper truck so u know where i'm coming from. lowered ~ 5/6

They are on the same on a ton of levels. Engine, chassis, suspension, bolt pattern.. Biggest differences I would note is the interior room, the xB being bigger, and the gas milage, the xA's being higher by a couple of miles (probably due to shape.) The other is cost.. usually the xB's are still in the 7 to 8k range, but I've seen xA's for 5 or 6k.

They're the same car with different bodies. Both are awesome. The xB is more useful. The xA is quicker and cheaper with better economy.
