lol this badge has actually been installed for months now I just never took out the time to post it i'll be able to get some pics up by this weekend i believe when my brother gets back from his field ops he has red front and back and i'm about to do yellow on mine if i some how find the time

 

where did you get that and is it an exact fit for the front?? is it available in diff colors or do we need to led swap it out?

 

I could be wrong but that's not an aftermarket emblem ^ Dremel out the SCION and hook it up with some LED's

 

Lol it's an exact fit for the front and back and that's because I pulled it straight from the car and just DIY the whole thing so yeah it'll be able to come in any color I personally think it looks great in the back yellow for the high voltage

 

do red and hook it up to the brake light

 

Lol I did exactly that for my brother's although I might just hook my back one on the high voltage to my license plate like because I want it running at all times

did you put some type of acrylic or plastic in the cut out?

 

it's actually completely dependent on what color I intend the letters to be while they aren't on. I really don't have much time to go out and buy things so when i DIY something you can probably do it with junk laying around your house because i did it with all the materials inside my studio

 

Oh so you painted the letters and then the led lights up the letters like how the gauge needles do?

 

kind of lol like for my brother's since it was red and i had a red LED i just used the clear film i had on the letters because he wanted it to look like the letters were made out of glass for mine i'm using both the yellow film i have and a yellow LED because i want it to appear yellow while the LED was off and glow yellow as well. I've actually made about every type of emblem glow with the exception of maybe fords and chevys because no one ever really asked

I'll have the picture of my brother's car posted sometime tonight with the emblem on, and mine sometime later in the week. As far as the DIY I'll have it posted up possibly by the end of my spring break. As for making it for other people i say sure why not if you pay for the materials, and maybe give me a little incentive .
