Default XM radio antenna placement on roof

Can anyone show pics of how they installed their XM antenna. I am absolutely not interested in putting it inside the vehicle, but would like to see peoples placement on the roof. I am considering going in through the grommet to the rear hatch but cant figure out how to do this and keep the gromment sealed. I will then place the antenna on the roof on the seam between the rear hatch and roof with cable running down the seam.

I have my sirius antenna inside my dash along with my gps antenna. They are both to the left of the gauges placed as far forward as I could get them wedged between the vent and the top of the dash. I seldom have an issue with signal on the sirius, with xm you should not have any trouble as xm antennas receive from repeater towers and the actual satellites. Otherwise the above picture would be the next best solution.

I had it painted by the body shop. It was like 40 bucks. I went to the dealer and ordered the antenna from a corolla and had it painted. I purchased the extension cable from tssradio.com. I also took the factory antenna and installed it in the headliner. I hate that factory ant. Look on my car, so I did this mod.

Mine was under the dash in my cobalt and I never had any issues. Once my reciever comes in it will be going back under the dash, found a spot right behind the cluster to stick it.
