So I noticed after a nice long drive to Arizona that my stock exhaust sounds a lot louder now, I'm at about 27k miles. Is it just breaking in all the way now? It actually sounds like I have a aftermarket exhaust, not crazy loud or anything, just nice tone. Anyone else noticing this on the stock exhaust?

 

not sure, but my stock exhaust always sounded like that...i think? (i'm at 19k)

 

Mine is pretty loud in the cabin over 2-3k RPM's. I really like it. I dont remember it being that loud at first but I also added a SRI which helped the sound.

 

Definitely a bit louder than day one.

I always liked the stock sound, the avg. joe can't believe it is a stock exhaust. Of course the descendants' sound gives me a warm fuzzy feeling in my nether regions. I still think the new catted header will hands down be the best exhaust upgrade for n/a Tc2's. And if someone makes a decent s/c, aww yeah! The header should give a bit more sound and some actual power increase. Good headers always seem to increase throttle response nicely.
On topic, I think mine may have picked up a little more sound, hard to tell when you have intake mods.

 

At high RPMs mine sounds like that and i only have 1200
