Default 2010 xB alpine h/u

I bought a 2010 xB a few days ago and so far I love it. The only issue I have with it is the factory alpine head unit. It sounds good when I listen to stations but when I hook up my iphone through the headphone jack it's relatively quiet compared to the radio. I was just wondering if anyone has the same problem. I have a single din apline I might put in tomorrow that I took out of my last car and I know this one will crank.

Not to sound mean or anything but did you make sure the volume is high on your Iphone?

Yup because thats what I thought at first. I even tried to wiggle tha cable and I messed with the ipod EQ and even with the radio at 60 it still wasn't that loud.

Mine did the same thing, but it is reading it as headphones so the sound quality isnt that great. Everytime i have ever hooked up something thru a headphone jack it doesn't sound good to me on anything. But via USB it sounds awesome.

I will have to try that when I get home, I just hate controlling it through the radio.

I think I might just put in my single din Alpine. I like the EQ more on it than the stock radio, and I will have my sirius back...MD stations suck.

The sound that comes out of an Iphone or ipod is designed to sound good only on headphones. The best way to listen on a Apple product is via the dock connector. It does suck cause you have to control it thru the radio. I think you can control it via click wheel.

Bluetooth or the dock is the only way to get the sound rite.
