Robert at Robear just installed it for me. RObear is great!

I immediately noticed better throttle response. There als seemed to be a bit more pull in the first two gears, but maybe it's just a feeling.

I will say that the build quality of the inatke is superb.

During the install, the oem filter and box needed to be removed. You need to open the box, remove the filter, and the bolts are hidden underneath.

You know I had no idea that the SRI was to replace the entire stock air filter. That stock filter is a black plastic ugly minster!

I was fully impressed by the workmanship of the injen product. It really is a worthwhile and relatively inexpensive mod.

 

Did you have to remove the battery?

 

Sorry for the late reply. No, the battery did not have to be removed. However, it would probably have made getting the filter in a lot easier. Withthe battery installed, you just have to wiggle the filter a little harder. Just make sure you don't tear it.

The hardest part, if you can call it that, was having the right tools so that loosening and tightening the hardware would not become a chore.
