yea...i can tell u already that the tC1 and the tC2 have completely different suspension...

especially the rear....

so is either a typo or an error or a fake or something if they say that it fits both gens

All your links go to product not found. If you want to call yourself a liar go ahead, but likely more misinformed, take your pick, no need for me to call/email/make a field trip when it says it right there on their own web site. If or when they update the application listing to show the 2011+ tC it WILL be a different part number.

The second link to jmautoracing is 'item not found' for me. The first link list both gen tCs, which for obvious reasons will not work for the tC2, the part number is for a tC1. If you want to waste $9xx to get sent the wrong set for your tC2 then go ahead. Even then those wouldn't be likely sites I'd order a thing from. Go to a Scion oriented performance site or a vendor on this forum, there is nothing from D2 currently for the tC2.

The following shows what you get

2005-2010 rear suspension:

2011+ rear suspension:

two different styles. the tC1 has a 1 piece spring/strut setup while the tC2 has a 2 piece separate spring/strut setup

^Exactly. I don't get why he doesn't comprehend that. He isn't investigating it any further and just taking their word for it and posting the WRONG info(the tC1 part number). If you tell D2 of the difference of the suspension setup then someone there will tell you if there truly is anything. I don't want other tC2 owners thinking D2 has a set out for them when they obviously don't, I'm sure there would be an announcement, and Scion aftermarket vendors on here sure would post about it. I checked FastScions site which sells D2 and has nothing listed for the tC2 application, just KSport, Tein and Tanabe.

No worries buddy, you're just the messenger. ALWAYS shoot the messenger! Just don't want somebody disapointed when they have their entire rear suspension apart and they have that "Oh crap!" moment! lol
