Default stereo ?'s

I am thinking about upgrading from the stock deck to a pioneer 7700. the guys who have done all my audio stuff(ipod connector, alarm, sub and amp; azm at gaudalupe and country club) said my factory xm might not be compatible... anyone know about this or a deck that would be compatible? otherwise i'm out a lot of money for a new xm and i already know i have to buy a new ipod connector.

also, if this ends up going down anyone interested in a i pod connector for the stock deck? I bought it for 225 installed.

well when you look @ headunits, look @ the description or details of the product, it list whether its xm ready or not, most new alpine's are xm ready. try going to crutchfield & looking @ different headunits w/ xm compatibility & maybe you'll find one you like.

it's not going to work with your factory xm... unless you get an adapter made...

your best bet would be to get the 7700, get the terk xm tuners... which ususally go for 100 bucks, 120 max, and sell your factory xm, on the boards for maybe 100 - 150... just change your subscription over...

and be extra careful when you remove the antenna...

Default New Deck

I think the Don and the boys at AZM should be able to find an adaptor to make it work I am pretty sure I have seen them.
