We've teamed up with the guys at our sister company Agency Power to bring a quality cat-back to the FR-S crowd! In the 2nd photo, you can see the Agency Power lower control arms and the rear sway bar we're testing

Glad there are going to be several exhaust options hitting the market for the FR-S.

Not sure, but it shouldn't be too far off. I'll check with the Agency Power guys today and get a better answer.

Vivid Racing - Agency Power Dyno Runs Part III

First above anything else I want to thank Jason, Cole, Matt and the Vivid Racing team for working with me to get all this done. It was a lot of work, Jason and his crew burned many of fingers in getting this done even while the exhaust was hot so we could get runs in as close as we could. I would also like to thank Jason and his crew for all the work they have done so far for the FR-S/BRZ and their future work with this car.

I am going to start this off with some info about the runs, The links to Mustang Dyno software that I am using at home. As I can not bring the Dyno home with me tonight. Match the base numbers on the last post of Part II and you will see the match. I am set up the same here at home. Any questions please read below.

This is the link to the software I am using at home. Its the new version then what is loaded on our Dyno. That being said THAT is why you will see the Dyno sheets look different from the last post in Part II.

Software and PowerDyne Manual
Detailed User's Manual for Mustang Dynamometer's PowerDyne PC Software
http://www.mustangdyne.com/mustangdy...prod=PowerDyne

So before you blast off that something is being played with. I expect that you did not read that manual. We did our homework. Now its your time to do so.

We had an error at the get go. When Jason and the team loaded up the car. Cole was doing Video and I was doing Pictures. Cole had to wear two hats. The car was loaded for the base run. The customer info was added into the Dyno. But Cole forgot to switch to a new folder. (Sorry Cole for tossing you under the bus!)
You will see on the Dyno chart 3 boxes across the bottom 3 high.
The 1st box is the run #, 2nd box is the folder name, 3rd box is the run description. Now the folder name is also used as the car detail. So our base runs are mislabeled as it defaulted to our shop FR-S folder. This was later caught and corrected on the second runs. So the base run with all ways show a TEMPFRS, While the rest will show AWM1854(Hale,Travis) Remeber if I wanted to play up our stuff. I would have used our FR-S base run as it had a lower base which would equal a high gain per part. So there is NO cheating. Everything is what it is.

Next we use a correction # of 1, Dyno is also in 2wd mode. Small cooling fan in front of car to help the cooling system. These runs are also Wheel Horsepower and NOT crank. This is a standard across the industry standard. No messing around once again. I also can not change that. It has to be done on the Dyno before the run has been made.

These runs are done from 2500rpm to Redline in 3rd gear.
  • Blue is Whp
  • Red is Wtq
  • Black is AFR
  • Scale to the left is 0 Whp to 210 Whp then 0 Wtq to 210 Wtq
  • Scale on the bottom is RPM
The scales are adjusted to bring the Dyno plots to center of the graph.

On to the base line run.

174Whp 137Wtq
This is the base run of EZwood's car.
