Does anyone know if I can cut off the obd plug and tap it to something else as power. Thanks.

this is a very good Q. but does the device some how need to read anything the ecu is doing? could be why is in the OBII port and not hard wired somewhere.

Idk the obd plug only has 2 wires in it so I'm thinking that's the power I know someone hea was selling one that he hooked up a relay but I have no clue how to do that and I can't find a diy or anything on it.

I think you can.

The way the throttle controller works (at least to my knowledge) is that the accelerator pedal has a device (position sensor) that monitors the amount of depression in the accelerator pedal. That position is then converted to a voltage which is fed back into the ecu which then determines how much to open the throttle.

I'm going to give it a try when I got some time if it don't work then I can always put it back the way it was. And I'll deff be able to tell best money I spent. So far lol.
