Default GF just joined the scion family!

Hello, my girlfriend and I just traded in her chevy cobalt for a 2010 xD! Overall I really like the car! Came with a few upgrades, the upgraded apline headunit, illuminated door sills and the lighted cupholders/footwells. The color is Black Currant Metallic which surprisingly I like.

Here are a few pics that aren't too good.

More pics to come!

Is that comment even necessary?????? There are PLENTY of great looking rides on the xD forum that more than give the brand as a whole justice, let alone one make in an entire line of cars. I get the whole "this is the internet...free speech blah, blah" and you are more than entitled to your opinion. But that is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard, even on SL. A prerequisite to purchasing an xD is not a lack of taste.

OP- tell your girl Congrats on the new ride! Can't wait to see what's next. And yes.....she'll love you even more if you buy her wheels ;-)

Well this car is no more already! Less than a week old and it is already totalled.

Long story short, gf was on the way to work at 4am and 2 underage teenagers in one of their parents cars ran a red light and hit her head on. It completely crushed the front in of the car. She is okay, just has a bruise on her chest and a nasty bruise on her knee. Overall I think she was lucky and Im happy it happened in the xD and not her crappy cobalt.

Thanks guys. She is doing fine just has some bruises from the seatbelt and she hit her knees on the dash. Yea Im definitely happy she was in the xD and not her old cobalt, I feel it would have been a lot worse.

Not sure the exact age of them but the guy had a suspended/revoked license. They were fine as far as I know. He was driving a Chevy van. It broke down a few miles down the road and left a trail of oil/antifreeze all the way down the road. that is how they found them. The van was towed by the same people that towed my gfs and it was pretty bad but not as bad as hers.

Im just happy she was just starting off at the light when they hit her because it could have been a lot worse if she was traveling at a faster speed.
