colHolm's Ultramarine FR-S 6M
Hey everyone,
Figured I'd start a thread where I can keep track of what I've done to my FR-S... Here goes:
To start, I took it for a proper prep and detail. Before the wash/clay/cut/polish/wax, I removed the FR-S badge. Next on the list was a front plate relocation kit. Thanks to RHO-Plate, I've got one! They should be available to buy in July from www.rhoplate.com. Here are some after detail shots with the plate relocator:

I've got LEDs for the dome light, trunk light, license plate light and reverse lights... just need to put them in and take some pics. My Beat-Sonic shark-fin style antenna to replace that horrible black RC car antenna on the roof is on order. Once it gets here there will be more pics.
I've also had the taillights wrapped in red vinyl, thanks to Shinzowerks in Markham. They did a great job, just don't ask them to do another pair! I'll eventually be cutting out the vinyl that is over the turn signals, but with how much heating and stretching that was required to wrap the lights, I want to make sure the vinyl doesn't pull back before I do the cut outs.

Got my hands on this sweet little keychain. The base has two-sided tape on the back, and a magnet on the front. Keychain and key hanger in one FTW!

Stay tuned, more news at 11!

Nice...I never liked the Altezza Style tails....The fully wrapped Tails look better!...And when you do the cut-outs should look nice!
Hurry up and get some Suspension Upgrades now!
And the 5 Axis bodykit too!!!

I like the OEM taillights on the FRS, but I've never been one to do custom lights on a car, fear of inferior build quality and frustration of burnt out bulbs/cheap LEDs. I do find it funny though that when they make regular taillights, we put Altezza style ones on, when they have Altezza style lights, we don't like them, and put solid ones on! lol. Clear corners? we want retro looking amber and orange ones instead now!
always gotta be a counter-culture! lol

Hmm..I dont think you executed the cut-out very well it looks odd....Might look better in person...The part cut-out is too big or something.
Still looks better than stock though.

It is a super easy install. Unscrew the factory antenna, use the supplied hardware to attach the beat-sonic antenna wire, then peel off the film from the double sided tape, align the antenna and press down. Done!
