the new accessories booklet that came out for end of march/beginning of april no longer lists the the aem as one of the accessories available for the car. check with ur dealership and get the yellow accessory book for the 3 scion cars.

no april fools. very serious and very f in annoyed by scion. here's what i was told-California is the problem. the charcoal is what's messing everything up. the K&N one is the same way-49 state carb legal but it's listed as off road use. Toyota won't sell a part that isn't 50 state legal. so rather than letting the rest of the country have em, they'd rather say screw it and not let anyone have it. how ridiculous????

cali is the reason the supercharger is being held up too. the reason that the aem is ok for the xb and xa is because the new emissions law came into effect this year and those were out in 04 the law doesnt apply to them. so because the aem wasnt done with emissions testing and available last year tc owners get it in the ___. that's what my dealer friend told me-or rather how he explained it to me. check with any dealership and ask for the brand new yellow accessory booklet. u can see the aem intake for the xb and xa but the aem intake for the tc is no longer listed as an available option. WTF

This is such a BS. AEM would not even consider not making money from Scion TC. It is a huge potential market. I call BS on both of your threads dude. Good april joke though ;)

Something that would get it to pass CARB certification, I suppose.

call a scion dealership. or better yet, go to a scion dealership. get the yellow accessory book. look at it. see that there's no aem intake anymore. also, i don't remember if it was ever listed on the Scion website, but it's not listed their anymore either.

of course aem wants to make money from the scion. it's just not up to aem. it's toyota's call. they would sell the part and back up the part with their warranty. so if toyota won't sell the part and it still becomes available-who cares. the whole point is to get the warranty. otherwise you could get the K&N or wait for injen or whoever else to come out with their cai.
