actually most of the sound from the k&n you can hear at the front of the car where the intake is, it sounds really nice under the hood to.

yes the DC header will make it louder... and from what i've heard, more raspy and fart sounding. no thanks i do not want that. but i was thinking of putting the Megan Raciing header instead. :)

car sounds good. I really would like a clip of how the K&N sounds w/o the exhaust. I havent seen that one yet.

all intakes almost sound the same, i think there cant be a bad intake sound....but props, sounds nice...only if the TRD axle back gave some hp...

only way you can ensure your warantee is intact is if you purchase from the dealership and have the dealership install it.

i purchased my Goldline lowering springs from my dealership and had them install it and they said they'll cover it under my warrenty if anything happens. so i guess the only was is to buy it from them and have them install it.

you dont have to pay $500+ for the TRD exhaust. you can go to http://www.mcgeorgeparts.com and pick it up for $366

Just got that intake in on Friday cant wait to put it in :eyebrow: but i still cant decide Injen or TRD? people say the TRD is just for SOunds no real gain, buti havent heard the Injen one and somebody said it doesnt give out enough exhaust? What the heck is that :question:

Your tC sounds very nice!!! :clap: I also had an intake system on mine, but my little 18 months old daughter thought it was a bit too loud for her taste...

thank you. luckily i drive alone so i can have my car be loud. i'm still debating on headers. from what the reviews are saying.... all of em sound raspy in the high RPM's. :/ i dunno, i'm leaning more towards the alphawerks header at the moment.

All I can say is wow! I have the TRD exhaust but I'm looking at CAIs. My friend says that K&N is the best! So I dunno if I still wanna wait for AEM. I have a question though, how much louder is the exhaust with the intake? On a scale from 1 to 10. 1 being the standard TRD exhaust. I love my exhaust but I wish it were loaded to attract more ppl. Thanks and keep up the work!

i'd say about a 5 or 6.... not too loud or annoying but loud enough to turn some heads. :D

Do you get that air sucking noise when accelerating? I like that. It's good to know that the exhaust is louder cause I wanna turn more heads.

i got my greddy sp2 a couple of days again along with my dc sports header... installed, and AWESOME pickup. sounds awesome... but stripped an 02 sensor at the header during header install... coughed up $165 for nothing! BAH! someone mentioned earlier about a farty noise... well i get like a higher pitched rattly noise around 3500-4000 rpms, but it goes away and has a nice sound to it. i'll try and get a vid up tomorrow sometime.

FYI..I set off an alarm today and I have K&N intake with stock exh. It is quite loud.

i get my k&N monday and i have the CC cat back with borla..............man i cant wait. im not trying to be an ___ about this but next can you please not do any videos of you in a neighbor hood. i dont have any kids but i have a little sister. again im not trying to be an ___ about it.

It definitely sounds way better than your average Honda... this makes it really tempting... but it goes against the whole reason I bought this car... to get away from the loud drone of exhaust and discomforts of driving my Camaro which is modified to the gills and has a cage and race seats + 5-pt harnesses not because I wanted them but becuase NHRA mandates it. :)

Very nice sound to it. Not sure my wife would enjoy that sound, but I do!
