Default k&n typhoon 69... on an 07 tc?

hey guys, i was wondering if anyone has put this type of intake on there tc.. i know they say 05-06 but from what i can tell.. there is really no differance besides the maf.. from an 06 to 07.. does anyone know if it would work on an 07.. i really like the design and want it on my car but just not sure i want to spend the money and be out of luck.

I have this Intake. If your state allows Intakes...I would get the INJEN Brand instead because the INJEN actually gives Performance.

I only have this Intake because I live in Cali I need to be CARB Legal and not get another State Ref. ticket. Its a OK intake....I miss the INJEN Brand.

No, that's why they have it listed for a specific year range. The 05-06 MAF unit is larger and the mounting plate is made for it. Fitment wise, the intake would work but not the MAF sensor. There is a conversion plate, but the business that was making them hasn't been too reliable as of late from what I've read.

the 69 series uses the oem air box... so i dont see why the maf size would make a differance.

Ah I thought it was the usual metal CAI piping. In theory it should work. I don't think the box is any different.

there is no metal pipe... it uses the top of the oem air box.

ok yes there is a metal pipe..... but the maf is on the box... not the pipe. how about this... is there a differance between a 2006 tc air box and a 07 air box. besides the maf. because if there is no differance than it should work
