Yes, at least one company makes one. Not sure which. T Rex, B Cool , And something that starts with an S... all make Billet style grills for the xB. I know at least one makes a black.

I think it is B-Cool who makes them in black. There was a thread with a pic here awile back. I think it looks good.

This really depends on what you mean by Black Chrome.

Typical Black Chrome is a hard chrome based plating thats
used in the military because it's hard, smooth, and can be
made in gloss-semi-gloss-flat.

But the Black Chrome that you and I would think of is typically
a chrome that's been tinted, pigmented, or candied.

My favorite was a black chrome that was very black, but
when the light hit it, it flashed a purple chrome. Really sexy
looking, and unfortunatly I never found out who made it or
how. it was on some mexicans car at a flea market.

I would totally do black chrome accents on my BOP box.

But for your project, what I would probably consider is
getting something like the B-Cool polished billet grill, and
either have it candied or anodized. I think candied would
look better, IMHO, you'd just need to pick a color.

"Black chrome" makes me think of "gunmetal" or "Hematite"...

Anyone make a "gunmetal-colored" billet grill? :ponder:

ypu should be able to powder coat a nice gloss and it will stand up pretty good to chipping.
