I work at Champion Toyota in texas, and some time last week i was told that trd was going to come out with a turbo for the xb. The thing is that they werent to confident about people wanting to buy it since its going to be a big hassle to install since you have to drop the whole engine since the turbo will sit behind the engine. Also told that its not going to be too big off a hp boost since of its size. Any one have anymore info on this? Anyone working at other dealerships? :?:

Its not worth bringing up as salesman because its really a mystery as to what we will
really recieve. We might get a better setup then we think and than whats been predicted. But there is no proof to go on....yet. Its mental masterbation for the most part.

I talked to trd at exposed and they told me that they are still trying to get carb approval but has very high emission levels. They also told me that they have no set date until they get approval

:shock: I'd kill for a turbo kit for the xB. I looked at one in the lastest booklet for the Scion cars...the TRD Turbo Concept xB. I love the fact it has turbo..I'd be down to the dealership quick as can be for a Turbo kit for the xB :twisted:

ouch, be nice.

he is speaking the truth though, they are still working on the turbo, but the one in the new scion mag issue would be nice to have on the car. id def turn up the boost though, do a few internal mods, make sure i don't blow nething inside apart.

a s/c or turbo sometime soon would be appreciated by all owners!!!

They are probably just stalling.

What makes you think that it couldn't have high emission levels Jack?

The turbo shouldn't affect emissions out of boost as long as the engine is tuned right.
