I hear all these people relocating the eye of there monitor for they can use there remote and stuff. I got a 9 inch monitor going in flush behind my center dash piece and I know the remote probably wont work. So all I was wondering is how do I relocate the eye in the monitor to another location. If you guys can give me another link that someones talked about this before or just give me directions on how to do it I would appreciate it a lot...Thanks, Tyler

Sounds like you are taking the same approach as me - 9" screen in dash. I extended the wires on my ir sensor and located it in the pass side a/c vent. If you are not comfortable with circuit board work I would suggest having a shop do the extension for you. I would hate to see you ruin your screen. Good luck - you'll love that 9 when it is done!

should have an emmiter to stick over the original eye and a new pickup to place anywhere you want...
