please scion tc owners, stop the madness !!! we all love scions here! and the scion tc is an awsome car ! (love it) but be advised , your tc is not going to out run ... : corvette , bmw, subaru wrx, mazda rx8, porsche, neon srt , neon 4 door, etc... etc..
the tc is an awsome car and i like it alot , but is 4 of 4 things great looking (inside and out) , affordable ( great value for the dollar all the way around ), reliable (this aint no yugo), and has a very average power plant ( if not lesser than for it's size) so ... if you guys are bent on racing thing go after the following: schoolbus, xb, xa, escort, pt cruiser, people walking , rollerbladers,
or just continue to live your fantasy...BOSS THE TC JUST BEAT THE PLANE!!!

Dude, I hate the Vs. threads as much as the next guy but I don't think anyone has mentioned beating any of the cars above. And for God's sake if it can't beat a non-SRT Neon, then I'm trading mine in.

That's why I said NON-SRT Neon, Hooked on Phonics worked for me.

And I just came from a '95 Neon and no it wouldn't keep up. It only has 135 crank hp.

 

There is not way a tc can beat a dodge neon srt-4 I test drove it and got the stats/ 0-60 in 5 secs. That car can easily tie if not beat a v8 mustang and camaro. There is no possible way a tc can beat that neon unless you swap out an engine.

 

a non srt neon and a tc are a close race i have seen it myself (seen just as many non-srt neon's (actually more) beat tc's than i have seen tc.s beat neons), so trade it in tomorrow or ...throw in the FAST AND FURIOUS dvd again...

the truth is , they didnt race anybody , they beat the hell out of there scion tc chasing sombodys grandfather who didnt even know they were there( or racing) until theTC Driver raced to the redlight to show there looser thumbs up ... gimme a break or a gun at this point !

I totally smoked this Corvette the other night, especially in the corners. Granted, the guy was trying to reposition his oxygen tube in his nose at the time, but hey, ya snooze, ya looze...

I would've caught this Honda, if it wasn't for the aerodynamics of his bodykit. Just saw this on my way to work the other day...

 

just tired of hearing the dumb and stupid crap... about a TC owner who cut off and beat a corvett through the drive though at McDonalds (and then gave the thumbs up) uggg... , lets be real STOP IT !!! my gosh !!!

 

The TC is becoming the next civic. Its a shame. I liked that car too...
