does any one know how they will do it? manual/auto. how will they divide them?
1. is it what ever you pref. with your dealer is what they will get?
2. so many manual and so many auto are made and when the manual are sold out auto is left and vice/versa.

I don't know, that's a good question. Maybe all the people that "preferenced" what they wanted before it's released will get what they want and the one's left over are whatever they decided to put in at the factory (split based on previous orders?)... Just my crazy toughts.

that is my question. does anyone know whether the rs 1.0 is made to order or is there a certain # of each (manual/auto) that they made and are going to distribute.
my concern is that if i cant get manual than i'm getting a RX8. fudge it is what i say if they cant get me what i want.

RK scion in Hampton VA is getting two and auto and fivespeed model

Miller Scion in Manassas, Va is getting 2 also, at least one 5-speed (mine) and he's trying to get another 5-speed but will settle for an auto if he can't. He'll know for sure Thursday when everything is done for allocation.

I've got to negotiate trade-in value, but if they aren't too moronic, i'll be putting a deposit on a 5-spd soon!
