Default Have very strange issue with car can someone help ????

Ok so heres whats happening i came out to my garage last night around 3 am and it was silent and a of a sudden i hear a loud humming noise coming from my tc. So then i walk to the back to see if it was from the car and it was. Sounds like the fuel pump.then i start walking back to the front of the car i notice my e manage ultimate lights are on as well. Like when u turn ur key to the on point but not started. What the hell could cause this?????????????????? Please need help asap it driving me crazy

I'm thinking maybe you have a setting on your ultimate that might have caused this. It might be thinking it needed to feed fuel or something. This is weird though, because it's not like you have a toggle switch that you just forgot to turn off. I'd just call GReddy on Monday and see what they say. Let us know what you find out, I'm curious. I say this post yesterday and left it alone because I really had no idea, and I still don't, so I am curious.

Sounds like an issue with that car's wiring, have you had a remote starter put in?Something is sending power to the e manage and to my knowledge its only supposed to get power when the key is turned to the on position.

Warning... This same thing happened to my friend Ben's xB. He spent the money for professional install, and they did a good job. Full motor build and all. But one morning, he started his car and it backfired out of the intake.

His emanaged had turned its self on, and POP! No more manifold. Blew it into many of pieces.

Think it's just a glitch with the ecu. I know its currently in his car, but not hooked up. However, he's on a NA engine now. My guess is that the emange gets a signal from the ecu doing a check while the engines off (like a temp check, or volt check) and from there, it triggers the emange to kick on. And the emanage isn't smart enough to turn its self off. I am not sure what the emanage is hooked up to on the power side (if it just powers off the oem ecu or not) I've never messed with boost and scions before (vw and boost yes, but never toyota).

So if it's wired in off the ECU and gets its power from it, that's gotta be whats triggering it on. In which case, maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to re-run the power wire to that (on/off as I am sure theres a constant 12v wire for memory) so that it only kicks on after you turn the key to on. Seems like a good safety to maybe prevent that from happening.

The emanage issue reminds me of the easy street auto pilot kit (digital kit). A lot of those would randomly dump your valves. Which was REAL fun going down the road and your bags dump when you're not expecting it. lol. I mean, the car I had it installed on, was built to drag, but yeah, not good times. That got unhooked for a manual set up with in a week of it happening. Slightly comparable.
