i didnt do any cutting .... or anything ..... i just bought a new shift **** and pushed it all the way through. It wasnt suppose to do that, i didnt have to do a lil modifications to it, but i got it to stay w/ out moving anywhere... its like 4-5 inches shorter from standard stock auto shift ****. I did it suprinsgly w/ out even wanting to .

 

so you just bought a new shift ****? the ones they sell for the manual stick?

that is awesome, thatll probably be the first thing i do to the interior, the stock **** looks ugly IMO

 

and i know i dont shift or anything ... but it does feel alotttttt better .. LOL (seriously)

i like it, but i'm still not exactly sure *what* it was that you did with the shift **** itself to make it shorter.

also, i was on cardomain earlier today. check out this guy's tc and the very last two pictures. he has a razo shift **** and look how short the shifter is: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/746671

 

I can gaurantee you he did the same thing i did !!

haha. and that is?? i'm assuming you bought an aftermarket shift **** and you just kept turing and turning it till it stopped all the way in the **** housing and it was able to hide that much of the shift shaft...
